Does anyone have any articles on what is normal vs not normal? My stomach sticks out but I don't think I'm fat. I'm 6 feet and 165 pounds.. Could I post a picture? I fear the AT crew will ridicule me.
There are certainly normal variations in anatomy and muscle development that could cause your abdomen to protrude more than others. However, it's more likely that you are skinny-fat.
In thin individuals, the most common cause of a large looking belly is an excessive anterior pelvic tilt. That is due to either tight hip flexors, core weakness, or poor core awareness. Post the picture, if you can. I can tell you if that's the cause if you post it.
