looks like this portfolio tracker doesnt take into account any profit from sales. :(

um, that's how it should be. It shouldn't show you a combined $ amt of your realized and unrealized gains/losses.

YUP :Q

i basically just look at my acct on Dec 31 and compare to last year. then do a simple calc for profit/loss.

but now i want to see how much my indivual picks are gaining/losing. and since i buy and sell (sometimes the same stocks) thruout the year, i want to see % gain/loss

I don't know how you stand . But me and the wife are both in the same funds. Hers threw work mine is self. End of qt. 4. We made 3% on our low risk funds. and .34 in the janus overseas fund. So we didn't lose in the 4 qt. Right now after jan. our low risk low return fund is making money. As of yesterday Janus was down 3.64 % . I can live with that.

It kind hard to take tho . The janus fund has made us 30% for 4 years on average, Best QT. we every had was $67,000 profit off investment. That was my wifes I don't have nearly as much as she does in the Markets. But I have way more in saving account than she does. We both split our mutual fund investment 50% safe 50% high risk. I make ALL investment decisions . I sold out my shorts on AMD and am very pleased . Waiting to buy intel after this miss straigthens out.

Here is some sound investment advise that all can profit from. This is How I did it.

When I found out Intel next generation cpu was based off Dothan . I knew intel wasgoing to kill amd . Having a Dothan gaming system it was a know brainer. SO I shorted AMD right away. I was nervious . I have lost money on margins befor. But I was positive Intel was back in the drivers seat. NO margin call and I made a shit load of money off of AMDs misfortune. I am kinda starting to like AMD.

SO you guys can do the same thing. this time it will be Intel in GPU's once we know or have an idea how good larrabbe is. IF larrabee is really good . And we will know befor the markets do. SHORT NV. DO it you won't lose it .
