Stock Voltage settings for P4 2.53G

What should the stock settings be in the BIOS? I had to up it to 1.6V to get it to POST. AsusProbe shows 1.48-1.50 vCore. It fluctuates a lot. This can't be good.

I am not overclocking.

It is the infamous P4S8X.

I just flashed v1004 BIOS. The Vcore is now default and stable at 1.504V. Nice. All settings are default. Now, I need to find a program that will tell me what the SPD default freq for the Corsair XMS2700 DDR I have.
