Stock Heatsink/Fan for a Phenom 9850

I'm not sure why you'd question the ability of a CPU to run well with the stock fan at stock speed, but yes, a CPU will run fine at stock speed with the stock fan.

This is not limited to the Phenom 9850, it's a pretty universal rule.

I don't think AMD bundled that heatsink/fan combo if it wouldn't properly cool the processor.

The 4 heat pipe cooler that the Phenom/FX processors come with is about as good of a 'stock' heatsink/fan as you can get, it'll work fine.

Thanks. I know the question sounds almost naive and redundant, so I appreciate the responses. I just felt the need to get reassured, it's been a while since I've used stock heatsinks and was seeking some opinions. I think I've just read too many OCer's complain about heatsinks and it made me second guess things. Thanks again guys.
