Does anyone know about ECOST.COM (ECST) and its' forcasting its stock price?

or...Anyone have any advice on what I should look for and what factors to take into account when analyzing stock prices?

How long do you want to own the stock?

Thats the first thing to look at then i can tell you what to look for.

I happen to do this for a living so feel free to ask any questions you have

a friend of mine isn't going to school this semester coz he lost his tuition money in the stock market. ok so that's not advice but it goes to show: if you come to a point where you wanna buy a lot of stock and plan to borrow money to do that, think very, very hard.

I didn't know ecost had an ipo recently. I've followed the site over the years because I used to shop at onsale.com in '99 which they bought in 2000 I think.

I always had great experiences with ordering from them, but would rather see the dentist for a root canal than use their site. They have had a history of being very slow to advance their site, which is why only now they had an ipo. It took a few years just to add pictures to everything, well after everyone else went there. I think they are too inept/slow to be able to keep up with online market changes and advancements. If you're looking for the next amazon.com, look elsewhere - they are going nowhere imo.
