This is what I mean by the risk being public and the reward being private.

So are you still going to believe that the Democrats are for the little guy?

Or do they placate the little guy just enough to make him think the table scraps they're throwing him are sticking to "the man" to keep his vote?

Do you believe this kind of tax deferral was accidental or intentional?

This doesn't really "save" him much of anything. It merely defers the payment until a later date.

this is correct, the current thread title is not.

Paul Allen has also served this country and mankind very well in his life. take not that the 'Philanthropy' section of Paul Allens wiki is the largest section.

It's also another billion he can invest in enterprises that employ people, something Paul Allen does quite a bit of. I'm pretty confident he's not just going to bury that billion in his backyard.

^^ Gee.. wonder how many other Billionaires get this deep throatn... and then will invest in International business for higher profits?

Wonder how many of his holdings and investments may already be in other countries?

I'm pretty sure the Seahawks and Trailblazers will be staying here in the US. MS too, for that matter. It's unlikely that Scaled Composites and Burt Rutan are going anywhere either.

Your paranoid stereotypes about the rich are pretty funny though.

I like his boats....

Honestly it is great to see the Dems working so hard to tarnish their image as being for the common people, I love it.
