Still not sure about Load Line Calibration

I know roughly what Load Line Calibration does, and the risks involved.

But as I understand it, there shouldn't be a problem with using it with relatively low voltages.

Is it safe to use 1.25V and Load Line Calibration on my Core i7? That's what I need to get 4GHZ stable.

im running LLC on my Q9650 without issue. as far as 1.25v being safe for an i7, that would be safe regardless of if you use LLC or not, and getting 4GHz with that voltage is even more impressive than what i needed on my CPU

i see that there is alot of smart ppl that know things are here, so i ve got a question, i dont know if it can be answered accurately but even "should" will be enough. question is if 1,2V is safe to use with core i7 920 while having load line calibration ON ?

cheers

I don't think there is a problem with that, 1.2V w/LLC enabled should not be a problem at all for am i7 920.

thx for the info, i rly appreciate it :) i ll sleep better now, w/o worrying whether my chip is safe or not :D
