Hello all, well my Comp tells me I have completed 3WU but the Seti Site for our team say's I have Zero!!! What gives???:frown:

Odd ,I see what you mean Tsunami ,even on the near realtime stats of the cgi page you're still down as having 0 WU's!😕
I just checked my stats immediatley before & after flushing 2 results & they were immediatley counted.
I guess their database/server problems means the stats for new members are lagging.I'm sure you'll see them soon.
I've also checked your personal SETI stats & it shows 0 WU's their too!

I guess all you can do is wait a day

Tsunami1,

What version/programs are you using to crunch those Seti Work Units?

And along with what Smokeball asked, what are you using to determine how many WUs you have completed?

The hope is that you're not having results being sucked into the "duplicate WU" black hole as many have had happen over the past month or so. Using a queue program like Setiqueue helps in that situation as it looks for certain error messages from SETI and if it gets one that indicates a "duplicate WU", it will hold the result to be sent later (and in that case, it's usually accepted okay with credit). Otherwise due to a problem on SETI's end, the incorrectly-labeled "duplicate" would be sent anyway but you won't get credit for it.

Yeah, try using Orange Kid's SETIQ server at orangekid.teamanandtech.com:5001 It'll let you make sure that your units are getting there, and then it should help with any duplicates too.

Seti@home version 3.03 is my version I'm running and to determine how many I've completed I click on the Radio telescope icon in sys tray and it shows computer work time total number of units processed, and current unit progress. ...... Am I missing something?

Ahh... so you're running the screensaver version?

You may want to do what Sukhoi mentioned and configure your client to send to Orange Kid's Setiqueue via the "proxy" setting. It could be that because you are innocently sending directly to SETI during this time when they're having MAJOR problems with their database server, that your results are getting rejected as being "duplicate" although they're NOT duplicates. By running your stuff through Orange Kid's Setiqueue, you put an extra layer of protection against that happening until they get it fixed.

Otherwise, perhaps the data server just isn't updating fast enough to register your results in the stats pages, but eventually they'll show up.

It depends on whether you're patient or cautious regarding your stats... 😉 That is, you can wait to see if anything eventually shows up, or you can take action and add that extra protection for your results. 🙂
