He's aware of it. He's the right leaning libertarian, who thinks that outrageous government intervention in a blue state makes it ok in a red state. Both of which Swanson would have a problem with.

The New York article he linked is just as disturbing and serves as a huge red flag for those of us who think outrageous government interventions based on incorrect information propagated by the MJ hate machine that is our government and are in desperate need of changing.

For those of you who didn't read his link, give it a read. It's pathetic attempts to still associate MJ with Herion and Cocaine, yet only 10% of prosecutions end up from H or C. Where's the neglect charges for all the drunks in our country? Oh, that's cool because it's legal....

My kids will be raised to know the truth about the different chemicals that will cross their paths at some point in their lives.

The bottom line in these days of the drug wars is to never talk about your drug use to anyone. Don't tell your kids, don't tell your friends, and never, ever write it down or post about it on the internet. The drug stasi are looking for business.
