Still having sound and data corruption with Iwill KK266

I have the latest bios, VIA 4in1 4.36a, IomegaWare 3.1 and latest SoundBlaster live drivers, anyone knows if something is missing or
what more i can do?:(

Can you explain the problem a little better? Did you disable the on-board sound? That can be conflicting with your SB.

yeah, the onboard sound is disable, ok the problem is when i try to copy something from the HDD to the Zip drive, the Zip drive stop responding
or the data is corrupt, for the sound i hear strange noises.

Well, on the ZIP drive, that's almost common. It's probably not reconizing the disk, or the drive is bad. Most likely the disk. Try another disk to see if that works. If not try formatting that disk, and see what it says. On the sound, I have no clue. Does it indicate in the device manager that it is working properly?

The problem is most likely the VIA chipset and the SoundBlaster sound card. Iwill's website even states that they don't recommend using SounBlaster products with their VIA boards. Read this. Hope this helps.
