Still growing

I went to visit my parents this weekend and they said "Hey, you look taller..."

So we broke out the tape measure and it turns out I've grown a half-inch or so over the last year.

I'm 23 since September 15th.

I also grew an inch in college.

Why would someone randomly grow an extra inch or half-inch? When will it stop??

everyone stops at different ages, though it's generally sometime during your late teens / early 20's.

I think I was like 18 or 19 when I stopped growing... I just remember coming back home for winter break freshman year and all of a sudden I could comfortably reach things on the top shelf in my parents' kitchen cabinets (though I still need a chair to reach the top shelves in my apartment :frown🙂

It's cute that at 23 your parents still measure your height.

You will continue to grow until you hit 50 feet at which point the military will send helicopters to shoot at you to stop the killing rampage that is for you every walk to the corner store.

Uma Thurman supposedly hit another growth spurt in her mid 20's.

It happens.

Damn, that'd be a dream. She's 6'1" last I heard.

I think I stopped growing at 14 or less. I don't remember getting any taller since being a freshman in highschool. Everyone was towering over me, and I stayed the same. In college, I was the shortest guy in every class, and thank god there were few ladies, cause most of them also matched or towered over me.

The ultimate pisser is that I haven't completely stopped growing throughout my body. My height is fixed, but my eyes are still growing (read: getting worse), and my hair follicles have decided to grow to their death.
