Still can't share in Network with ME.

I have tried everything in my powers to get this system to share in Network. I don't have a sharing tab when i right click on my hdd's. WTF?? I have tried moving NIC card to diff PCI slot, I have updated drivers for the card, i have removed Client for Microsoft Networks from Network properties and re-installed them and re-installed File and Printer Sharing and nothing. I can get my printer shared and My Docs, but that is through the Netork Wizard. Any ideas????

It sounds like you may have tried this, but to start, check Control Panel -> Network -> File and Print Sharing and make sure the boxes are checked.
 
Shiggy: what network card do you have? I had a similar problem with a real cheap network card, just swapped it out with a 3Com, and everything worked fine. If you can get your hands on a good 3Com card, that would be good. Try it out and see if it works.
 
I am running a FA311 Netgear card, it worked fine with 98SE. I can share My Docs and my Printer via the Networking Wizard, but none of my hdd's. =(
 
I would like to know this also. I had the same problem between Win2K and a 98Se box. Both had Linksys cards. The 98 machine could see the 2k My Docs, but nothing else. The 2k could see both drives in the 98 box. Never have figured it out. 😕 Sorry I can`t help you at all, but I wanted to share the misery.
