Sorry if the answer to my question is buried somewhere in this topic and I missed it, but would this memory be good for me to get two and run at 166FSB in Dual-Channel DDR on my MSI nForce2 board?
I heard that the nForce2's have problems with the Crucial PC2700 512 sticks but I wasn't sure about these ones. I'm not a huge overclocker so I just need them to run DDR333 Dual-Channel.

The 2100 DDR are designed to run at the DDR266 speed. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. So anyway, if speed concerns you, get a faster one. If you dont care anything at all for speed, you can always run this memory fine at the slower DDR speed on your motherboard. You may or may not be able to overclock this memory.

Same price. BUT the coupon code doesn't work with it :(

Thanks for trying to help, but you missed the point of my question. I am not asking if these will overclock well. I have read here that these sticks will hit 333MHz just fine, and I am willing to trust that and take my chances on it, because people have had great actual success with them. All I want to know, is if anyone has bought this ram and used it at 333MHz on a Dual-Channel DDR nForce2 platform. Anyone?

Thanks.

They run OK?
My mobo runs 133 FSB and my stick seems to be fine.

:)

looks like it's still working. I didn't even clear cookies or anything, just went to the HP site linked, hit the Crucial link, spotted the code, cntrl-C'd it, added to cart, checked out, got a confirm email within seconds. Works for me. Thanks Beatnic. Good post, and still working after months.

Yes, $25 off any 512MB memory module from Crucial for ANY manufacturer's PC or notebook! You have to go through either http://www.myhpclub.com or http://www.mypresarioclub.com and then click on the Crucial chiclet (on the left hand side) to enter Crucial's site. The chiclet says $20 off but when you get to Crucial's page it actually is $25 off.

I called on the PC2700 and they said "one per customer" which seems to be one per e-mail address if ordered off of the web.

Received my 512MB PC2700 RAM from Crucial today and it's Samsung TCB3 chips on Samsung PCB. It even has the original Samsung sticker on it. Crucial just slapped their sticker on it and shipped it out.
