I jumped on this as well. I just bought 256MB of Crucial PC2100 just last week, but that's being returned once I get this as I only have two memory slots on my motherboard. 🙁

768MB of memory, woooo. No, I'm not in the Gig club yet (I would be if I had a better motherboard), but eventually I'll get there. Thanks for the great post and giving me a better bang for my buck.

crap,

should i get this or jump on the kingston hyperx deal???? ahhhhh...this forum is killing me....

1Gb for $116 (crucial pc2100)

1Gb for $170 (pc3000)

somebody help me pleassseeeeeeeee.

what is your setup? mobo, cpu

if you're planning to overclock aggressively then get the pc3000, otherwise crucial pc2100 ram is known to go above its stated mhz, which in this case is 133mhz.

mobo: msi nf2 - ilsr
cpu: xp2100+ tbred (from new egg deal)

i would get the pc3000 but i have never used kingston ram before so i have no experience with their overclockability. good luck.
