Would you look at all that winning? Hope liberals don't make them vote for Trump again.

Northern Midwest actually looks pretty good on the whole. I've always had my heart in Iowa having lived there for 10 years. It's really not a bad place at all. Plenty of opportunities and great education from elementary to college.

I'm surprised coast of Maine doesn't show more red considering what has happened to the lobster trade since Putin's Boy started the only kind of war he'll fight in.

Washington County looks about right though.

I'd love to see the color be one color: bright blue.

It's possible to get there, but first we have to stop giving the richest people in the solar system all of the money.
So what you are saying is Marxism is the only option.

Nonono, just keep giving Wall Street all your money. I'm sure you'll be richly rewarded in golden showers from them.

OR maybe we strike a balance between private wealth (fleecing people out of their money) and public wealth (Marxism, as you call it). Did you ever think that instead of all or nothing, we could strike an accord at or below 50%? Because with 25% alone Basic Income would be transformative to the poverty and crime in this nation. And it would secure our future against automation.

If you don't meet people halfway, you'll see those areas in distress growing. And there'll be nothing standing between them and your sacred cows.

Nope. Not even an option.

Just stop giving the people who already have most of the money, the rest of it.

I really should have included the /s in my post.

there's a lot of grey on that map in Maine, so essentially out of the ream of their math. It could lean either way in those regions, but with such low population numbers, one would assume highly distressed, but I think "high distress" could also mean people that just don't give a damn and living off the land as they see fit--at least in certain parts of the country, for sure.

JStorm has an elitist attitude & isn't really a Lib at all. It would be helpful if you'd explain what shitting on flyover states means, exactly.

What do you think the map looked like under Obama? W? Clinton?

Oh that's right, hardly any different. In other words, this is a colossally stupid thread.

If by “fine” you mean wealth inequality, rampant homelessness and the return to a feudal servant class socio-economic framework. The article even makes mention that the low-income areas of cities mirror the same patterns as the rural areas. You couldn’t save anything even if you tried.
