Stickers!

I know this is a pretty stupid topic but I bet it's never been done before.

I just built my new pc today. Still didn't put the stickers on yet.

I got Asus, Core 2 and Sapphire stickers. I think I might try to take the Sound blaster sticker off my old case. Might be tough.

My case is a P180 and I'm think about putting them on the top of the door.

So where do you put your hardware stickers?

I don't know where you live, but if you have any mom n' pop computer shops around you -- you know, those Dell wanna-be's that reside in 'strip malls'... they usually have boxes full of these thing! 😉

I never saw the benefit in making my PC look like a NASCAR vehicle... If they want me to advertise for them, they'd better be paying me for the privilege... 😉

But if you really want to use them, put them behind the door somewhere. If what I've heard is still true, the hinges on those doors are none too sturdy. So your stickers will be exposed for the world to see shortly and you won't have lost them with the door in the closet... 😉

Then again, 'we' don't have a problem pimping free advertisements for Newegg dba Rosewill computer cases on Anandtech, do 'we', Tom Paine Jr. ? 😉

Leave the guy alone! He just wants to do his thing -- like you, my friend...

I put a Cooler Master sticker on the center hub of my 120mm exhaust fan. It gives it a pretty neat effect when it's spinning full speed because you can still read what it says.

However, I have never put a sticker on the ouside of my case.

well, i only put badges on the top of my case so it's easy visible.

on my old case, i had several quiksilver stickers all over side panels. i'm gonna wait till my case gets old then i'll rape it with more quiksilver stickers. 😀

I put my AMD, eVGA, and AC stickers on the bottom corner of my case to keep it subtle...and the huge Newegg sticker I got I put on the inside bottom panel of the case b/c I didn't want to waste it XD

Hey Vin,

re. Rosewill thread: Pimping implies making money. Do you have any proof to offer? Check my review of my R5604 (or any of my other reviews on TechIMO.com) - no punches pulled.

re. stickers. Just giving my opinion like everyone else in this thread. The OP can take it or leave it. I don't use the stickers I get, but I do save them for when I eventually want to unload my stuff.

On plain cases, I usually put them on the front panel at the bottom. Though I only put the ones on for the motherboard and processor, usually.

My most recent case has a complicated front panel, so I can't put them there. I'll probably leave them off.
