Steven Spielberg: Pre and Post Bernie Madoff

It seems like since Spielberg lost a big chunk of his investment in the Madoff debacle he's been desperate to get back to work. Any work. And most of what he has done since 2009 has stunk. Now he's working on a Halo tv show. I understand he needs the money but all these terrible movies and shows he's been making is hurting his legacy.

Hardship and struggle always inspire the greatest works of art. I am certain that fifty years from now, people will look back on this period of his favorably.

You like his tv shows and movies after Madoff compared to before? Did he even do television before Madoff?

He did Taken for SciFi. Won the Emmy for best minseries.
And he did Amazing Stories which wasn't quite amazing.
Oh, and Young Indiana Jones.

And didn't he lose more money to Amy Irving than Bernie Madoff?

It's undisclosed how much Spielberg had with Madoff. The guy has so much money that it's most likely tied to many organizations.

If anyone is hurting, I'd bet it's Kevin Bacon. Going to TV is the absolute proof he's hard-up for cash.

but the following is pretty good on fox; it reminds me a bit of fringe.

I've never forgiven him for replacing shotguns with walkie talkies in his re-release of E.T.

If it's any consolation, Steven Spielberg asked fans if they wanted the original or modified version of ET when he released it on BD. And as you might have guessed, the overwhelming response was for the original. And that's what he released on BD. Perfectly handled IMO.

I wish I could say the same for fat shit Lucas, but I can't.

What did he accidentally take too much Viagra?

Or maybe it's hardshit and struggle. So he's constipated? Don't they have meds for that?
