Sorry but Seagal in his prime was a serious motherf***er. Dude was the first white man to open a dojo in Tokyo, right?
I saw a documentary detailing his training regimen early on. This guy would train in one of the most hard-core dojos for 8+ hours a day, through broken bones, open wounds and the like. He did this for YEARS. Not to mention that when he wasn't training he would go looking for streetfights to keep honing his skills. There's a huge effin' difference between this level of training and commitment and winning some tournament with your fancy no-look spinning backwards roundhouse kicks.
Yeah he may be a crappy actor, a cheeseball activist, and make low-rent films, but if you know much about martial arts you know that Chuck's fighting style and Steven's are not compatible. Chuck may have been an outstanding striker, but Seagal would've grabbed that devastating kick in mid-air, forcibly removed Chuck's kneecap, and then pile-driven his ass into the floor head-first. Finishing move to the back of Chuck's neck would be about .02 seconds later.
