unfortunately the american dream switched focus on being wealthy to wanting those wealthy to become some kind of national martyr choosing to live in poverty and donate all their earnings to society.

Meanwhile that same dude goes and shop lifts an XBox and spends his under the table income on some pills or weed then enjoys a free dinner from food stamps.

The Apple ][ and then //c put great computers into the hands of those that couldn't buy an IBM PC for the home and even then the Apple line up had all the fun software.

Later on Commodore and Radio Shack plus a few contenders came to be...

Did Jobs screw over the other co-founder? I never hear about him and was curious if he got shafted in the beginning or if he made out good.

kind of basic history, woz made out like a bandit, but it is true jobs would screw you if he could. some early apple employees didn't get stock or something, woz covered them with 1/3 from his own batch...hes like that, i'm sure his ex wives are all happy too😛 steve jobs was more a you get what you get kind of guy. if you were an early employee that chose salary vs stock, thats your mistake...you effed up and thats your problem, and he has no tolerance for that.
 
(CNN) -- Apple co-founder Steve Jobs died of respiratory arrest brought on by a pancreatic tumor, a public health official said Monday.

Jobs died at 3 p.m. Wednesday at home in Palo Alto, California, said Amy Cornell of the Santa Clara County Public Health Department.

The third founding partner was Ron Wayne, a fellow Atari employee. Look him up, it's an interesting story.
