Isnt gizmodo the place that stole an iPhone4 and reviewed it before sending it back to Apple?

No, they bought a hot iPhone 4 and reviewed it before release. That whole case was a mess. Buying stolen property is illegal, but Jason Chen got treated like he was distributing kiddie porn. Then they allegedly did it again, sans warrant, to some random dude in San Fran, without police authorization. Oh yeah, the guy didn't have the missing iPhone 5 prototype.

Yes, but the guy knew it was a stolen phone (the guy selling it contacted several places asking for money and surprise, Gizmodo went through with it). Considering Gizmodo, actually almost all of Gawkers blogs' history I wouldn't trust them for shit.

Definitely there were shady stuff on the other side, and it looks like the iPhone 5 situation is even worse, but that doesn't excuse them (guy who found the phone and the Giz editor for paying to get what he knew was stolen property) for being pieces of shit too.

As for this topic, it was probably a setup for another shitty article or their dickhead desire to be "first!".

Can't stand this attitude. How can anyone reasonably expect a gadget blog to turn down an early look at an iPhone prototype? If the guy selling it claimed it was lost in a bar, and Gizmodo did the right thing after they got it (cooperating with law enforcement and providing information about the guy that sold it), I don't see a problem. You'd only have a problem with it if you were a Steve Jobs' ass-kisser.

Spock's Brain?

Love him or hate him, he changed the world.
I'm no fan of Apple, but to see him go would be a huge hit to the tech world.

He didn't do anything relevant to the tech world. Jobs didn't invent the ipod, someone else at Apple did. He was just a loudmouth retard of a CEO that dickhole Starbucks addicts worship.

...and Diamond did it before Apple with the Rio MP3 player.

Sorry about that - I was holding him wrong so the signals weren't reaching his heart
