Why do we run a trade deficit with anybody? Because that maximizes profit for the trans-national corporate elite. American companies feel no greater loyalty to this country than they do any other because we haven't demanded that they do so. They'd treat us the way they treat Bangla Deshis if we let them.

Heh. It's easy for the Chinese govt to paint the US as the bad guys, because we started this. They can blame Trump & be truthful at the same time.

There are lots of Chinese who remember what it was like before they embraced Capitalism. They know how far they've come under their current leadership & have good reason to hold fast in their support. The govt has seen to the needs of the people better than any they've had for 150 years. They know it.

They also have the resources to keep on keepin' on with us or w/o us. Their investments in human resources, infrastructure, research and the ability to bring complex projects to fruition have been second to none. A person doesn't have to like everything about their ways to respect them.

factory work is almost done. Americans being generally stupid and lazy has done them in. The reasons why they are stupid is up for debate but I would say when you dont need to fight in life you get fucking lazy. It wont turn around. We need a minimum income to keep these people alive and functioning as they will never do anything with thier lives.

Minimum income would just make it worse, survival of the fittest, let them see what stupid and lazy gets them.
