Steve Bannon: Liberal, Ladies Man, BMOC

This is truly interesting article on Steve Bannon's college days. His transformation is, on the surface, stunning and extreme. It just reminds me that people are complex. I will continue to demonize his politics, but I have gained some measure of conditional respect for the man.

Btw, BMOC is a now obsolescent acronym for Big Man On Campus. And he was.

yea, I kinda doubt he hung with Billy, Jerry and Brent. Bad photoshop on Bobby is bad.

DAFUQ?!?!?!?!?!
That's Jerry Garcia, Brent Mydland, Billy Kreutzmann, and a piss poor photoshop of bannon onto Bobby Weir. NOT RARE EARTH
Rut roh. Am I the victim of . . . fake news? 😱

The article seemed fairly convincing. <shrug> Good thing some of you young 'uns have more on the ball. 😛

What I was trying to deal with is that the supposed chop of Bannon kinda looks like a version of Phil, and I was trying to make sense of that not quite being Phil. 😀

We ALL looked like that back then. Ssrly.
Man, the 60s/70s were creepy times, and I thought the late 80s/early 90s were terrifying...

That reminds me of my 8th grade math teacher (was also the girls' basketball coach, and a perv, but that's neither here nor there); no matter how he dressed, his hair, sideburns, mustache and beard made him look as he stepped out of a time warp.

the BEST music came out in the 70's. THE BEST. From the Stones to Steely Dan to Genesis to The Clash to Devo to The Police to Blondie to Bruce Springsteen to Parliament to Ohio Players to Stevie Wonder to...
THE. BEST.

I agree that 70s music is some of the best around, but some of the fashion trends from around then... *shudder*

Thank goodness we survived the fashion from back then and bell bottoms, Nehru jackets, etc. all died off.

Also thankfully, the music from then still lives today because it stands head and shoulders above anything around today.
Both generalizations to which there are signal exceptions, but, yeah, more or less this.

I think he is still a liberal on economic policy, a national socialist. Look at how much Breitbart is trashing the Ryan plan.

Saw The Grateful Dead and Blondie at Winterland, not at the same time of course. Good shows, the Dead were better from what i can recall. Springsteen was even better though.
