That dude is a serious tweaker. No sane person does that.

I wonder how powerful the reverser deployment mechanism really is in that direction? I have no doubt it would do some damage, but it doesn't seem like an application where a lot of power is needed behind the mechanism.

Hydraulic actuators operating at roughly 1500-3000 psi. Those clamshell reversers were probably closer to 3000 than 1500.

Don't know much about hydraulics, but it sounds bad .

They were just demonstrating how awful it would be if a mechanic was servicing a plane and someone carelessly engaged the reverser, a real pig carcass might damage the unit but it sounds like fun!
