Side effects of Methylprednisolone : Acne; clumsiness; dizziness; facial flushing; feeling of whirling motion; general body discomfort; headache; increased appetite; increased sweating; nausea; nervousness; sleeplessness; upset stomach.
 
Methylprednisolone is a corticosteroid not an anabolic steroid. Completely different from something an athlete would take.

Corticosteroids increase appetite and weight gain. This is probably what has spiked your energy levels.
