Steps to Building a Computer?

OK, I haven't built a computer in a couple years so I'm looking for someone to just list each step they recommend when building a computer? Like after I put the hard together, what to install first like when to install the 4in1 drivers, etc. Thanks

I have an Epox 8rda, pc2700 ram, wd hard drive, ati radeon, and other stuff but the main stuff i have questions on is the first steps. Do I Just put everything together and install the OS? or are there other things i have to do?

Things to install in the order that I always do it:
mobo (make sure you put in the face plate first), cpu, heat sink, connect stuff like power button and reset button to your mobo from your case, ram, agp card, pci card, cd-rom, floopy, hard drives, ide cables, plug in power cables to your mobo and drives, plug in stuff to the back of your computer like the power cable, monitor, sound card.

turn on your computer and go into bios. make sure the settings are right (boot device, mhz settings, etc.). install windows (or linux 😀 ). If your installing windows XP most of the drivers your mobo requires is automaticlly installed. If you wish, you can downloaded the lastest driver version from the manufacturer's site and install them.
