Please, please, please, please, please, PLEASE let a non-fictitious story come from this.

If it's real we'll probably have some article from the nightly news soon enough

Um, move out of the ghetto?

With the rampant illegal immigration this country is experiencing it seems that where ever you live Mexico is bringing the ghetto to you. It is definitely time to start taking a stand.

Mexican ghetto > white trash ghetto every day of the week.

I applaud you, my friend. Allow me to give you some advice. Make sure that those who are involved with you are of the same mindset and conviction. If they aren't then they are worthless. You see, those who are weak willed will become your downfall. You (all of you) must be willing to do what is necessary to drive out the criminal scum. Too do this effectively you must be ruthless and act without hesitation and without mercy. Your actions should reflect your desire to regain control of that which belongs to you. If you show even the slightest sign of weakness, you will be overrun. Everyone knows this.

Bullshit. It doesn't matter what kind of ghetto it is, it will still be filled with the same human garbage. Mexican garbage, white garbage, black garbage, they are all the same. Everyone knows this.

It'd be cool if there was a way to rig a car up like a giant have-a-heart trap. You wouldn't have to sit there all night
just come out in the morning and see what you caught, hehe.

To each his own. I am not saying any kind of ghetto is a good thing, just personally think some are worse than others.

I'm not sure if anyone posted this on ATOT, but I heard about it earlier this week while listening to CNN:

Johns Hopkins student kills burglar with samurai sword

They're trying to decide whether to charge him.

Don't mean to derail, but if the burglar really did lunge at him, sound like valid self defense to me. Or is this one of those retarded laws where you're only allowed to block and not hit back?

Also, should be noted that he hit the guy's hand. Could have easily skewered him if he wanted to.

I wouldn't do this. The easiest way to curb crime in an area is to know your neighbors. The problem is that people living in cities rarely know who lives two doors down . If you don't know the people living around you then you have no way of knowing if something is going on that shouldn't be. Lighting is also important. I highly recommend lights from the utility companies, it is a monthly fee on the bill but they are very bright lights and they handle all necessary maintenance, the one I have cost me $4.95 a month. Another cheap thing you can do is put up alarm signs. You don't even have to have an alarm installed, the sign alone makes burglars target other homes instead of yours.

You guys really think some car burglar is going to start a gang war with the members of a dog park over catching and beating one of them? That's really fucked up to live in that much fear and explains why half you fuckers won't even call the police when you witness something.

Most of you guys have gone off on a tangent anyway. This is not a 'neighborhood', it's a county dog park. Actually the homes bordering that park on it's lake are 7 figures even now.

The scourge of the earth are coming as far as 1-2 hours away to do these. Many of these women have several hundred dollars in cash on them, the last one lost $300 and a $1000 handbag.

Florida's laws and the police we talked to know the deal, we will be in fear for our lives and only trying to stop bodily harm to us.

I have put people in the hospital already when I was younger. I was never arrested for anything...most I had to do was make a statement and provide ID.

Until people start caring, crime is going to continue. Most think a burglar goes right to jail for several years, truth is they are usually back on the street the same day on probation or take the time in jail till their court date knowing most will get off with 'time served' and no probation probably.

We are not having Joe Pencilneck that tells stories of how all 130lbs of himself took on a full football team 'back in the day' 🙂

Most of us have had military/martial arts training and played high school and college football/wrestling.

These guys have been working in groups of two. One driver/lookout and then the guy grabbing the bag. It's pretty much going to be 4-5 on 1 not to mention that more than likely others will just join in in riot (which we are hoping for).

When a whole dog park kicks someone's ass there isn't much more investigation to do.

Car burglar stabbed in fight overnight with car's owner near Greenacres, lands in hospital

A car burglar got into a struggle with the car's owner early this morning and wound up stabbed in a neighborhood near Greenacres.

Palm Beach County Sheriff's officials say a 37-year-old man was attempting to break into a car parked by the owner's home in the 2600 block of Rosehaven Road at about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday when the car's owner confronted him.

The man who was stabbed was taken to Delray Medical Center and underwent surgery just before 5 a.m., Sheriff's spokeswoman Teri Barbera reports. His injuries are not life-threatening, she said.

Investigators on the scene tell CBS 12 that the car's owner first had to chase the suspected burglar, managed to trip him before they got into a tangle. The car owner told deputies he has no idea how the man ended up with a stab wound, CBS 12 reported.

We have formed a small group now of about 5-6 of us that are watching and making phone calls. We have had the police pick up a few suspicious characters...nothing has stuck, but no break-ins happened those nights either.

We are taking it to the next level. Bait car and someone hiding out. Rest of us waiting. Really can't pack here as too many angles to cover and too many people.

I am bringing my Fox 5.3 and lining up a nice piece of wood and a rock....

I seriously believe that until the citizen's take a stand, crime is going to run rampant. Most police forces are focused on revenue generation right now (if not always) rather than targeting law enforcement costs.

I was just going to post asking if this was one of the neighbors / crew?

Isn't this like the 3rd or 4th thread you've made about getting robbed?

Having your HOME broken into and robbed is a first class attention getter. It's not something you forget or forgive likely.

Alk, your situation is why I've intentionally moved up into a once totally rural area, up with the cows and the fundies. I can pee in my back yard, and I never lock anything.

I like it that way, and if I were in your situation, I KNOW I wouldn't be able to help myself from going all vigilante, which can have serious unintended negative repercussions, given our litiigious and justice-free society.
