steering wheel cover replacement

Alright, basically the old one is starting to feel all nasty and stuff and I think it's time to get a new one. I don't really want to take it a shop to do unless it's my last resort.

I was wondering if anyone here has ever bought one of those slipcovers or something else to replace the OEM one...

EDIT:: example from amazon

if so, how is it? do they slip off or stay on? do i have to remove my old one (stitched on) and stitch on the new one?

thanks in advance.

fixed the link.
did you wrap it around your steering wheel or take your old one off and then sew the new one on?
i saw this site yesterday, but obviously i'm a bit skeptical... how long did it take you to do?

those slip-ons are dangerous, IMO. you'll want something that stitches on. Pliablemoose's link looks like a good bet. otherwise, good ol' duct tape to the rescue! 😉

No idea, daughter put them on for me, but they don't slip, and you have to look to ensure they're not the factory covers, they look & feel great.

It's the same company I think that makes katskinz seat covers, both have a very good reputation...
