The bus had another excellent game, but Big Ben was choppy for the second week in a row.
The Curtain travels to Jacksonville next week. A week of golf may be just what the doctor ordered. Duce and Plaxico will be back.
It doesn't look good for Jacksonville.
Steelers by 8, guaranteed.
 
Let's HOPE Duce and Plax are back next week. A lot of these sacks are coverage sacks... teams can double Ward without Plax being in there to draw a defender.

Either way, a win is a win. 10-1 baby. :thumbsup:
 
10-1....gotta love it. It was kind of an ugly win but as long as we got the W then that's all that counts. Bettis had a great game and Randle El's punt returns were amazing....here's hoping they make it 11-1 next week.
 
I thought it was kind of ugly, but take into account that they were playing the second best defense in the league (that keyed to stop the run) and managed a Bettis 100 yard game.
Washington's secondary is brutal, Ben was 9 of 20. He made at least 3 bad passes to boot. Not his best game. He had the same problem last week. As much as I dislike Burress (I think he's always been an underachiever with a bad attitude), I think he'll be a big shot in the arm next week. It'll open up Hines for a couple big plays. Ben likes Plex, too. It'll be a shot of confidence for him.
Under 500 yards total offense in that game. I didn't expect that coming in.
