Only 7 rushing TDs (The pathetic Patriot rushing game has 14 TDs)
Coaching Staff that can't make in game adjustments to win the game

The Steelers are one and done in the playoffs.

Here comes the Pats trolls, yay.

This is almost the same team that won 3 road games en route to winning the SB. Granted they have a rookie coach but he has done pretty good so far. Scoring offense is ranked 8th overall, rushing offense 3rd overall @ 140 yards a game.

Done with this thread, beyond tired of the NE trolls. Good luck with your finesse passing offense and poor running offense/defense in January against quality teams (IE not the Beagles, Ravens, Jets).

Forgot to add the Steelers.

we'll see what ben can do without a running game.

ya know the pats run game isnt pathetic.... its actually in the top 15 i think. they just dont use it cause they generally dont need to. It's not that they lack the ability to run, they just dont rely on it.

The thought that the NFL Network wants to charge a fee and then have such horrible announcers is ridiculous.

Another problem with the NFL network is, after football season is over, the channel worthless.

Burger needs to throw to Ward more. I need to win this FF playoff round and 40ish yards with no TD isnt gonna help me much.

Pitt finishes with the Rams and Ravens. Who woulda thunk they'd be fighting with the Browns for the Division!? Hahahaha!

I speculated that scenario 3-4 weeks ago. Funny there are more Pitt threads started by NE fans than anyone else.

Game being streamed here:

Thanks for the link, Alistar. When the hell did the NFL decide to allow games to be streamed on their website for free? I thought you had to be in a foreign country or something. 😕

They're not showing all the plays, I'm guessing they only have a license for a certain amount of time of aired game play. They also put in a few commercial breaks, so thats probably how they cover it financially

Yeah, they're showing some random interviews and commentary now. Shame. 🙁

Because everyone gets the channel for the announcers, right?😛

I'm pretty sure Gumble called Romo "Tony Romeo" though.

That's a nice stadium St Louis has, fans seemed awfully quiet the whole game, but maybe they just didn't pick up the crowd sound for some reason. What happened to Bulger? He used to be a top 10 QB.

Defense scores to seal the victory. Backup RB is the first to gain over 100 yards against the stout Rams run D, and contributed 167 total yards and 2 TDs. Pitt racked up 166 yards on the ground without the leading NFL rusher. Back to the power running game, just in time for the playoffs. Davis was pretty awesome in the preseason, can't wait to see what he will add to the mix. He and Davenport should be fresh since Willy did the bulk of the work all year. Much like their injuries on defense not much you can do but throw the next guy in there and try to get it done. The loss of Aaron Smith at DE is really more of a blow than losing parker.

I didn't forget the Steelers game Cave, but out of the last 4 that was the only one where they looked halfway decent IMO. Good call by BB to give them a light practice week for that game. That extra week off will mean the world to that defense come January.

Considering most of the damage was accomplished by targeting holes left by injuries (and a trick play) and those starters are back and healthy I doubt the outcome would be the same. Look at the rushing totals for that game (181-22), if they meet again and weather makes running a priority that would not exactly be in NE's favor. I would like to see NE play Jax this postseason, but not if that means Jax has to beat Pitt first.

Game was also streamed via sopcast, you can almost always find links on Myp2p.
