Very true, should be like college if anything

nah, they should just give the other team a chance to respond if theres a score on the first possession of OT

that game was screwed up though

This game doesn't matter much. Just the priviledge to lose the Jets next week :)

The home crowd booing the 15 year old punt, pass & kick participant from Pittsburgh, PA was pretty hilarious.

Ahhh, but the team that wins the coin toss only wins 48% of the sudden death games (except in this instance)

Holy crap, some kid in my dorm just ran down the hall with a garbage can and threw it into someones door. The kid came out of his room and they started swearing at each other. I ran and shut my door and hid under the bed. They are still out there talking.

The overtime rules DON'T suck - if the kicking team's defense can't stop the other team from scoring in OT, then they deserve to lose. Pittsburg had more than enough chance to win. They blew it plenty of times.

My understanding of the rule is that the running into the kicker still resulted in a change of possesion.

Steelers got screwed. Nedney really took a dive. He barely got touched. That was some good acting the way he spun around to get the roughing the kicker call.

Titans suck.

Right, blame the kicker and the officials. If you want to blame anyone blame that @$$hat Washington (no. 20) - not only did he blow a tackle and let the Titans get a 32 yard pickup, he's also the one who hit the kicker. And if you had eyes you would have seen that the kicker was off-balance when he get hit - that's why he spun around.

Boohoo about the Steelers, CHOKE!!!!!

both teams played their heart out, and then OT is determined by not giving the steelers a chance to respond. i dunno, college OT seems a lot better to me....

Their defense choked. They don't deserve a chance if their defense can't stop the Titans from scoring. That's the way NFL's OT has been for god knows how long. Why are you b1tching about it now?

Great game, but there is always a winner and a loser. Washington probably doesn't have an a** left after Cowher got to him. And did anybody else think it was pretty crappy the way he ran off the field without even shaking the other coach's hand.....:( big baby with a big ugly chin......:p

BARELY is the operative word. He shouldn't have been touched at all. None. No contact. Excellent call by the officials.

How funny were the fireworks going off after the Steelers called that time out before the first attempt. :D

Everybody who watches football should know, that it will get called EVERY time.

I'm going to disagree with everyone that says NFL OT sucks. Average field position after a kickoff is around the 31-32 yd. line. So it takes about 40-45 yards for the offense to get into decent field position. If a team can't win in regulation and allows the other team to march 45 yards on the first possesion, and gives up a field goal, they do not deserve to win. Also the defense will elect the better part of the field which can be a major wind advantage in some instances. As someone else mentioned, the winning coin flip team only wins the game 48% of the time, it's not like the opposing team is screwed right from the start.
