Whats the current price on sone 1 1/2" steel tubing?

And would steel or aluminum be better to use on a frame?

no idea the prices. call your local home depot. aluminum would be lighter, steel is more malliable I believe.

steel would be fine. gas weld or mig it, could arc if you wanted to. make sure the surfaces and your weld rod is clean clean clean.

DOM tube. Arc it. If you can't arc. Then mig with atleast 140 amps.
