Not burning hot but rather steamy for those that might of missed out on the BF deals.
My local Wal-Mart doesn't carry these but I was able to PM at Best Buy without to much hassle.
YMMV on the PM.
Also if you look Best Buy has a coupon for $20 off any purchase over $175, combine with the pricematch to make the deal smokin.

Wal-Mart.com

Remember this deal is only good on 11/30!

The internal hardware is the same. The feature set is different. The 650 will come with more maps preinstalled(All of NA instead of just US48 puerto rico and Hawaii) and it also will have text to speech capability and traffic(for additional cost). The 650 is an MP3 player(as stupid as that is...imo) an audio book player, has 2 hours longer battery life(7 instead of 5), has a headphone jack and is also widescreen. If you want the widescreen without all the other features you can get the 200w for $209 from buy.com(with GCO...$219 without)

The 200 is somewhat barebones. It will get you where you are going in the same manner as the 650 just without the bells and whistles.

thanx for the info Ryan.

hopefully the 200w will be sub $200 (shipped/tax) in the near future.

For those that don't know, text to speech means calling out street names. The 200/w will say "Turn in 300 ft" and "Turn right". The 650 will say "Turn right on Walton Blvd" and "Merge onto I-275"

The street name will be displayed on the screen on both models...its just a matter of if it says the street name or not.

I can almost get it down to there. If you add in the review rebate from pricegrabber:

http://electronics.pricegrabbe...0210/skd=1/search=200w

You can get it for $204.99(approx) shipped(assuming no tax from buy.com)

The 200W I ordered for the GF just arrived, and I've had a chance to charge its battery and pre-load her friends and family(*) before wrapping it for Xmas. I'm a GPS virgin, so my opinions are worthless, but... jeez, this unit is nice! A big screen w/ narrow bezel so it looks sharp; clear instructions and easy end-point entry; very intuitive for the most part [only stumped on POI displays, so far].

For my purposes -- satisfying Herself -- this seems a perfect starting point: anything fancier would have wasted capabilities or be too much for her to master. Yeah, BT would be nice, and spoken street name directions, but... she has to prove herself on this before justifying greater $$$.

(*) Sure, she knows how to find her friends and family already, but it gives her some driving experience with it while she's not anxious about getting lost.
