Can someone explain to me exactly what Steam is?
Is Steam something similar to Gamespy?
Do they sell games or just the HL2?
How would I benefit from purchasing HL2 form Steam?

uhm...steam isnt like gamespy, it distributes the games also.
 
D2D...ugh. I like how their new released they have Deus Ex: IW and Theif 3. Those arnt new releases! 😛
