I loved GRID (played it a ton).

DiRT2 i'm not so hot at, & i prefer the vehicles in GRID, but it's pretty good as well.

Can't comment on the older ones.

Can anybody tell me how big the download for toca race driver 3 is? not very keen on downloading >6GB of data.

Looks like a great deal. I was considering Dirt 2 a couple months ago when it was I think $20. Throw in Dirt and Grid and all those others and I might have to do it.

I got Grid for free with my 4870. The others I dont care about.
Plus, fucking steam is not fucking accepting my fucking credit card.
DAMN THEM!

I bought Dirt 2 when I got my HD 5770. Wasn't $10 though sadly. lol

All really good deals. I already have most of these games. Dirt 1 is still my favourite out of them all. It was actually the first game I bought for my PS3. Too bad Dirt 2 dropped hill climb and big rigs. At least AFAIK. Those were always my favourite events.

Grid was ok but I never enjoyed it as much as Gran Turismo or GTR2. I'll admit I suck at it.

Fuel was crap. Dumb gameplay and a dumb premise.

Jumped today. Oh Steam...my wallet absolutely hates you these past few weeks. Luckily I had no money during the Christmas sale at all. :awe:

^ Last time I played it, it kept erroring out so I gave up. The first time I got to play it, it felt like the car was balancing on a pole, I kept yo yoing left and right to get it going straight.

So yea I dont like it lol

I bought Dirt 2. The rest didn't really seem appealing. 9.99 for Dirt 2 is still a hell of a deal.

A warning to anyone on XP x64, this game will not work with the latest version of Games For Windows Live installed. You won't be able to create an autosave, meaning that you can't save your progress what-so-ever. You have to roll back to version 3.08xxx to be able to create an autosave. If you try to play online, you'll be forced to upgrade to the latest version of Games For Windows Live, and you won't be able to load your autosaves again until you revert back to version 3.08xxx. So basically, if you have XP x64, you won't be able to play online with your saved data, and if you want to play online and play single player, you'll have to switch between the current version of Games For Windows Live and version 3.08xxx every time you switch between the two.

After about two hours of play, I'm really liking it. I don't have a 360 controller, so I use my PS3 controller and it works great. I use a program called MotionJoy that provides the proper drivers for the PS3 controller. It has a function that enables 360 controller emulation, making the PS3 controller appear as a 360 controller to Windows, so it works just like a 360 controller in any game that supports it.. you can even use it wirelessly if you have bluetooth.

I really like the tracks in Dirt 2. It has a great variety of short twisty tracks and long open ones.

Are you people playing these with keyboard/mouse, or a wheel? If the latter, which wheel do you recommend?

Well, depends on how much you want to spend. You can get a nice Logitech wheel for under $50, but it won't have a shifter or clutch pedal...you can spend $250 on the G27 (which can also be used with consoles) which is what I plan to do when I get a job. A controller might be a good alternative for the moment if wanting an expensive wheel, but hell, you might even be able to find a used wheel on Craigslist for cheap.

Oh fuck... I just don't know.

While I definitely won't play any of these for awhile if I were to buy them (waiting to get a good stand for my G25 wheel), I might have to pounce on this. Damn good deal.

Anyone play ToCA Race Driver 3?

From my brief demo play of Grid on PS3, I wasn't really impressed with the handling via my G25. Does Race Driver 3 have better realism?
Not that realism is necessary, I'd prefer it.

I definitely want Dirt 2, and kind of want Race Driver 3 and, slightly want Grid. Debating if I should spend $10 or $17 basically, because if I buy more than Dirt 2, I'm definitely just picking the package. Grid could be fun just in the "balls to the wall" sense, though for realistic road course racers, I definitely prefer my tweaked NFS:Shift.

I got the whole pack. Only played Grid so far, but it's really fun. I've been using an Xbox 360 controller connected via a USB receiver. Works great.
