This sucks. It looks really interesting and haven't bought it yet cus there's been better games out. For $25 it doesn't seem bad but none of my friends play PC video games at all. I guess it's like L4D where you need people to play with you or else it sucks bad.

Fully agreed. One of the worst ports for the PC. It is definitely a waste of money if you don't plan on playing with friends.

I also played the game entirely solo and enjoyed it myself, maxed out my siren at 50. I really enjoyed the game and been having the itch to play it again.

I've been watching for a deal on this and thought great, here's the deal, and came to see if anyone was joining on the 4/$75 pricing.

Then I saw the strong reviews against the game solo, and thought glad I came here, sounds like a terrible game for the PC, might have saved buying it.

Enjoyable game, but not really worth full price.
At 50% off it's not bad. I played through twice and then gave my (non-Steam) copy away.

It's not hugely varied but it's entertaining enough to give a good few hours of entertainment.

This game has no storyline. You're dropped in the middle of nowhere with no humans other than the ones trying to kill you. What's your objective? Gather as many weapons as you possibly can because that's all that this game is about; the ridiculous amount of guns.

From what I saw from a friend playing it on one of those fancy 360 boxes of x is a mmo grind. Its probably not a bad game I just need a little more than grind grind grind....

I disagree. I played 100% single player, and enjoyed it very much.

i played single player as well..the online was soo broken at the time of launch. hopefully i can go back and play it again online. the zombie DLC was fun.

i played through the game on the 360 unfortunately(online was stable there) game didnt look half as good though

I am equally puzzled by the number of negative remarks here. I played through it twice completely solo with while still enjoying myself. I'm not really sure why everyone is saying "Bad Port", its a FPS and FPS-ing with KB+M is vastly better when compared to a controller.

Yeah the story is a bit lacking and its a loot-grind game but thats the same as Diablo and its hard to find people knocking it.

The skills across the 4 character classes gives the game a fair amount of replay and alot of the skills are fun to play with, now if your the powerlvl type person you will loose some of that as you will be ignoring major sections of skills\game in your quest for the best #'s.

I will agree that multiplayer was a bit of a PITA, I played with a friend for several hours and we had a blast but we had a few issues with stability (even though that was not the case playing single player for each of us) and it was causing some issues with quest completion\credit for the other player. It was really fun playing ad-hoc games with the buggies.

I would have been satisfied paying full price for the game, I was really happy for getting it at $30 around Dec. $25 is a good price $19 is a great price IMHO.

i went afk for a LONG dinner and some powergamer was in there, i was level 13 after shooting 3 dogs
the vending machines is a dull copout store
the dumbass intro music
the gunplay sucks


and im a huge fan of action rpgs
somethin really bugs me about this game

People really don't understand this game. It's simple: if you're a loot whore who creams your pants at the sight of big numbers and colorful, randomly named guns, you'll love it. If you like actual gameplay instead of playing an item lottery, you won't.
