I believe there is Baldur's Gate 2 Complete on GoG for $4, $2 if you get the whole bundle of D&D games.

Thanks. I already own a copy of BG2 from GoG (purchased for $5 during a sale two years ago). I haven't played it yet. By the time I got around to figuring out how to mod it to make it run on modern equipment, BG2 Enhanced Edition was released. It's already optimized and enhanced to run on modern equipment. And it'll be in my Steam library (which I view as a bonus). So I'd rather have that.

Age of Wonders 3 on sale would be great...
Maybe Age of Mythology too...
Rise of Nations look really cool so i'd grab that...

Those 3 games for 75% off would be a dream! 😛

AOW3 was on sale multiple times, including today, on gog, for 33% off.

After buying about 10 games last time, I don't know what I'll do during my second Steam Sale ever. Dishonored was the only game I touched, and I didn't ever finish it (though I still want to). I'll be watching for both Fallout games, and I might grab Spec Ops: The Line, if it gets cheap. I just didn't take to PC gaming like I thought I might, as I still prefer playing with a controller and both of my wired ones kinda went to crap.

One of the things I try to do during a Steam sell is that if I already have a backlog of games I want to play then I keep the buying of new games to the under $10 category. My reasoning is that most games will continue to drop in price over their first year of release until they hit the $15 mark, and during the steam sell they will be in the $5-$10 mark. So, if I don't think I'll get to a game for 8-12 months, don't buy it unless it is already in that price range. But at the $10 mark I might as well get it so I don't have to wait on the next Steam sell.

Of course if it is a game I'm going to start playing immediately I'll consider paying a bit more. South Park is one of those games, I would probably immediately start playing it if I bought it, so I'm willing to pay about $20 for it, but I'm not willing to pay much more then that because really I will be happy playing any number of other games on my list, so it is no big deal to wait until the fall or winter sell for it to come down in price.

For the first time in a long time there is nothing that interest me. I will be on steam 10 years this november. In the past few years it seems game development has stagnated.

I will probably buy some games for the grandkids, maybe some racing games or something. If some side scrollers go on sale I pick some of them up for the grandkids.

Between Rust and TF2, I am staying busy.

Pretty much going to buy nothing. I sincerely doubt nothing I don't already have will be on sale for a price I'm willing to pay (generally around $5 at this point), and there's not much I currently want. I mean yeah, there's some older titles now that I wouldn't mind snagging if they were a couple bucks.

Why so cheap? Because I still have about 70 or so games in my backlog that I have yet to play, and I honestly don't feel a lot of these games are worth what they ask these days.

Ugh. I've been buying so many of the games that would have been interesting to me shortly after they released instead of waiting on a sale. I played them all though, so I guess it wasn't a total loss. I can't think of anything that is of even passing interest to me that might be on sale though. Maybe the South Park game.

The issue is less the money and the selection. There are a LOT of games releasing at the end of the year I want on the Bone, for starters. Then, the majority of "good" Steam games are indie crap I don't want. So it's mostly a clean-up sale to me, where I maybe grab games I never got to play last-gen (like New Vegas) or rented, but never finished (like RAGE). I just don't see a great number of games I legitimately want...but then again, I didn't want much during the 2013 Holiday Sale, and I ended up with 10-12 games and 1 or 2 Humble Bundles.

For anyone that does not have it, and if you like adventure games, if rust goes on sale pick it up.

I know it is still in alpha, but it is made by the same people who made garys mod. Rust is the type of game you can easily sink 300+ hours into.

LOL...I've only been on Steam for 1 year and of course, I'm looking forward to getting some good deals on some of the really good games.

Thanks for the heads up on Rust......will look into that.

A big +1 for TF2 (even with all the paid games I have......I like this a lot!!!) 😀😀

Just fot a Wii U and some games plus I lost my CC and haven't received my replacement. First sale I'll skip since 2010.

Rust is only good if you have a consistent group from what i hear. If you go solo you wont get much built.

I have had a good time playing rust by myself. But you have to hide your house away from other players.

There have been lots of times I started the game, only to find out someone used C4 to blow out a wall and kill me when I was sleeping.

The developers are supposed to remove being able to kill players while they sleep.

You might like The Forest. Its single player only right now, but if you like building crafting stuff and killing the occasional cannibal you might like it.

They are getting a full puppy check up when they get fixed, blood work, checked for parasites and heart worms. The female tested positive for hook worms, the vet gave me medicine for him an her.

My moon shots include Transistor getting any kind of discount, and the Bioshock Infinite season pass actually seeing a discount.

Also have nearly 700 games in my library most of them have never been played.

Locking this and starting an official thread, now that the sale has started
