Am I the only one getting anime soft porn suggestions in their queue?

Do you have to keep signing in all the time? I literally finished my queues for the day and I had to log back in and reauthorize.

No you are not the only one, the amount of shit in Steam these days is ridiculous.

Thanks for the confirmation. I've clicked not interested on several of them but they keep suggesting that genre.

If someone is interested in that genre either indiegala or bundlestars have had bundles in the past that may be a good value.

My guess is they are going by your browsing history... 😀

Not really but as for the logging back in check your security settings on the site / browser.

I think I should pick up rocksmith. I'm planning on getting an acoustic guitar with a pick up. Used to play a bit in college but completely forgot everything.

That's nice to know. I wonder if it's a big difference to play it on the PC vs the ps4. Probably not because I just need to relearn the basics anyway.
I guess the difference is where you prefer to play. A key for the pc may last longer than a PS4 unless it's backwards compatible with a new playstation if/when you upgrade consoles.

Can we move the complaining about Steam to another thread? This is the sale thread...
Like it or not the trading cards are part of the sale and Steam made people take an unnecessary step when selling or buying them. Besides, that discussion was over until YOU brought it back up...

Can anyone recommend Sid Meier's Civilization V: Brave New World for me?
The two DLC (Gods and Kings, Brave New World) significantly improve the game when taken together.

In particular, Brave New World adds internal and external trade routes, significantly changes how social policies work, and alters the mechanics of culture production. There's also the archaeology mechanics, which isn't as sweeping a change as the others I mentioned.

Trade routes are really the biggest thing. Internally routes give food and production bonuses. External routes give gold and science bonuses. External routes give players an incentive to stay at peace and trade.

It felt I got my money's worth, and I paid full price for Brave New World when it was first released. At almost 90% off it's a steal.

Brave New World is a must if you have Civ 5. You can skip Gods and Kings as Brave New World includes all the content of that DLC minus the scenerios i believe.

Anyone recommend Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak? I want to love it, but it's a huge departure from the rest of the series in terms of genre.

Also, Rebel Galaxy is 50% off. I highly recommend it at $10, especially if you like the ship combat in AC IV: Black Flags.

Nope, curious did you get the showering with your dad game in your suggestion que?D:

This summer I decided to go for it. Wait for it... I haven't bought a game in about 6 years. I have received a few games as gifts, but I mostly cycle through the same 5-6 games and sometimes play free mmo's. I decided to by the following games:

Shadowrun: Hong Kong - Extended Edition
Shadowrun: Dragonfall Directors Cut
1. I loved the original Shadowrun and played the new one that came out a few years back. I can't tell you how many times I almost bought both of these games.

Talisman Digital Ediition
1. Played the board game as a teen all the time. So excited to see a pc version.

Mars: War Logs
The Last Remnant
Remember Me
1. These three games looked interesting to me. They had good reviews and I am looking forward to playing them. Pricing was also great which made the decision very easy for me.

All the summer sale means to me this year is if I can get a discount on some games in my wishlist and maybe pay $15-$20 less for some of the newer games I haven't picked up yet. Since I was laid off last year, I took a massive pay-cut and now I can't just buy whatever game looks fun anymore.

Other than my wishlist, all Steam is trying to sell me is either garbage indie/early access games, or anime porn. Honestly, if someone wanted a million-dollar idea, just make an indie game that's set around anime girls wearing Kleenex bikinis, give it some asinine premise that's never even mentioned past the game's title, then price it at $9.99 on Steam. It seems indie games are still going strong and now anime porn "games" are gaining momentum.

If anyone hasn't played The Stanley Parable, I'm not saying you'll 'finish the game', but it's quite an experience to mess with a bit for $3. It's a 'meta' game.

I just checked the Steam homepage and I don't see any of that Asian porn indie crap for sale for me. Wonder why it is showing for others.

I am a huge HW fan and I hope to pick it up in the future. Even at the current discount it is more than I wish to spend on a game ... considering how many other fantastic RTS games are available for next to nothing.

FYI, the PC version has minimal lag compared to what you may experience with a PS4. Since so much of play an instrument deals with timing and rhythm, I would stick with the PC version.

Why is every Anime game being recommended to me, and also why does every Anime game seem to get overwhelming positive steam rating?

Anyhoo, I "splurged" on Banner Saga 2. Not the best sale price, but I wanted it.
