I just bought the Complete Valve pack and BF2 Bad Company... but I'm tempted...

Just a heads up, their servers are obviously getting hammered. I bought a few things including the CivIV pack, but it took several tries to checkout. None of the big packs interested me honestly, though I'll have to consider Fallout 3 GOTY which was a bit over ~$20.

Peremptor: I think you have to purchase something as a gift to have the extra copies. I ran into that same issue as I bought the indie mix pack and had Plain Sight already.

Anyways, hopefully people can find things they will enjoy.

I'm thinking of gifting the Valve pack but I got to get in touch with my friend first. I don't think he has a Steam account (heck I just got mine a month or so ago).

EDIT: Damn what a shame Valve had 2nd thoughts about offering all their goodies for just 25 bucks and they doubled the price on the full package.

Is Battlefield Bc2 worth a play through at $7?

It's arguably the best deal they got (well after all the Valve stuff for $25 which is now $50). The game has a great single player campaign and the multiplayer is even better.

I hope they give that nice, or better of a discount for Lego Star Wars during one of these sales.

Yes..it's a bit linear, but the trash talk makes it fun. You know they purposely put it on sale so people would buy Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam expansion.

Yeah, but you play through the thing when it's on sale, then buy the expansion pack in three months when IT goes on sale, haha. That's the thing with steam: wait long enough and you'll get your game at a steal.

In for BFBC2 and possibly a persia game.

I keep thinking about TQ. It's a good diablo clone with some more depth, but I always get bored around the same point in the game and never finish it... then pass the disc on to a friend or something.

I'm thinking about Fallout 3. I'm an FPS guy whose skills are fading, and I enjoy exploring & good storylines. OTOH, I tried to play Oblivion twice, and found it to be boring and generic. Everything seemed the same, and none of it seemed interesting. Just big and bland. Since both are by the same ppl, I'm wondering if Fallout 3 will be like Oblivion all over again. Fallout 3 LOOKS better to me, going by the videos I've seen.

Maybe I should just get Arkham Asylum for $14.99.

Arkham Asylum is a solid choice. I don't even like beat em' ups but I still enjoyed that game.
