I hope Bully goes for 75% off this week. I need it to complete my Rockstar collection. Guess I need the Episodes from Liberty City also, but no way in hell that's gonna be 75% off this week.
 
How is GTA 4 on the PC now? I remember hearing it had a lot of issues when it first came out. I'm guessing those have been fixed right? For $7.50, I guess you can't complain.

I know they got ride of having to use that Rockstar Social Club, and I know that was a lot of hassle. I picked it up. I played it when it first came out on the PS3, but figured it be worth playing again on the PC with all the mods and such now.

I'd recommend Bully for the 360 If possible. Gamespot was right when they said the colors are all washed out on the PC. I was able to change my TV's settings along with the YCbCr/RGB option in the driver which seems to correct it, but I really shouldn't have to do that. And performance seems a little lacking on a system that should plow through it. I have the latest patch installed too.

So it seems R* is still providing updates, albeit very slowly.

$7.50 is hard to beat. I jumped on it. Definitely a game I'll want to keep. I don't know how many times I replayed GTA3, Vice City, and especially San Andreas.

Now let's hope it doesn't run like ass when I finally overhaul my PC.

Generally if it's cross platform I'll pick it up on PC these days, now that I have a rig that can handle console ports. Of course it depends on what DRM it uses and what bugs it has. Still a lot of lingering quality control issues with PC games.

I've never played any of the GTA games so I'm not sure what to expect but it's hard to pass up at that price. You can't even go to a movie for that these days.

Main reason I played it on the PS3 over the PC was that it came out like over 6 months earlier for the consoles, otherwise I too will normally pick the PC version of a gaming up over console, very few exceptions.

I can. In Fargo, ND the Ultra-Screen matines are $7.50. 😀

Regular screens are like $6.50.
 
I was starting to wonder why I hadn't seen any of the promised Rockstar sales on Steam - I hadn't imagined they would do shorter than 1-day sales. Not to be sour-grapes over it, but this sucks 😛
 
picked up the full pack.
i was able to get bully,manhunt,GTA:SA, and GTAIV to run on Win7 Pro 64bit.

ran very nicely and Bully and GTAIV both take advantage of the 360 controller
