I just paid mad money for the game. I can't believe it. Just totally suckered into it - like some magic force made me move my hand and type in my credit card number. Must be some kind of voodoo.

I hope Far Cry is worth every penny of the ridiculous $10 that I paid for it. And I still have 20% more to download. This is taking too long! I want my money back!
 
Might as well stop the download now. Fucking horrible game, after about 1 hr you will want to kill your self. Its like pokemon where every 5 steps you get into a battle with those random pokeman. So 90% of your travel time is spent doing retarded battles. Same in this case except its with merc guys.

Edit: Far Cry 1 or 2?

It gets boring after awhile. At a certain point I decided to try to beat the game by only setting tree traps.

Far Cry 1 proved so fucking difficult I never beat it. I started it up again about a month ago and I was reminded why I stopped. Certain areas are just too hard. Hope you can stomach more than me as I hear it's a solid game... I just couldn't deal with it. And of course by today's standards it isn't so pretty.

I have everything from Orange box except TF and Portal... I just can't make myself fork $10 for an online shooter and a head-warper, because I know I won't have time and patience to play either one. That's why I am choose single-players only, and am so behind the times.

I paid $60 for the 360 version of the orange box. Worth it for portal alone, although I got some fun out of episode 2 as well. TF2 was a major disappointment on the 360 but rocks on the PC.
 
Far cry 1 is a decent enough but for how old it is not for $10 and even worse since it was a download version.

why did you pay 10$ for it?

it was with a whole pack of software for 10 bucks about 3 weeks ago.
