It was well worth the $13.xx it was on sale for before - not sure it'll get any lower than that anytime soon.

I don't mind spending that much on it - I just don't want to get "Torchlit," as it were and buy the game only to have it drop by 50% the very next day. I'll wait until the 2nd of Jan.

Civ 4 complete pack is $13.60 now.

I'm betting their system went wonky when they went to update the new deals for today and they wanted to put the complete pack up instead of all the civ 4 stuff individually

Tried to buy left 4 dead this morning, Steam said it was having difficulties or something so I gave up. A little while later I got an email saying my credit card has been declined (interesting since I used this same card yesterday to buy a game). Then I got an email a few minutes later saying Thanks for your purchase and my credit card has been charged. Now when I try to find the game I can't even see it in my "My games" list. I'm not sure what is going on.

Well Beyond the Sword and Colonization are both $6.79 each. Colonization isn't really an expansion from what I've gathered more of a standalone game redone.

L4D worth the sale price if I haven't played it yet? Multiplayer community active at all?

I have all Civ games except Colonization. I hope the price is still the same when I get home.

I don't have it, but I've heard it's pretty much a clone of the original Colonization, except with better graphics. From that description I wouldn't say it's worth $10. The original bogs down in micromangement in the later game, but otherwise never really provides much of a challenge.

$7.49 is worth the price of the single player campaign alone - the AI is a bit dumb at times, but it's a lot of fun. There are plenty of user made maps that should also keep you busy as well if you can't find a decent MP server.

As for if anyone is playing? I'd say YES:
