Steam, HL@, DoD, Source?

Ok, so I used to play CS 1.6 and CS Source when it came out.

I haven't played it in about 2 years, so I forget what is required.

I just installed Steam again and have nothing else installed.

Can I download all of the games straight through Steam, or do I need some of my CDs?

I think I paid for HL2 Silver through Steam.

What if I want to play HL1 and CS original? Can I download them through Steam as well?

You can DL all of them via steam. I think you can register your CD keys so you don't have to pay again.
 
If you bought your games on CD, then you need to tie them to your Steam account. After you do that once, you can just download all your games through Steam if you ever need to.
