I've been trying to log on for the past hour. No luck.

This on a WinXP machine in addition to trying on my server2008 box.

It makes me type in my password (even though it is supposed to autosave) and kicks back with a Steam is having trouble connecting to the Steam Server error.
 
Boooo, I actually get 30 minutes to game and goddamn Steam is down. :laugh:

Same here. Bummersauce. Wish I could set it to Offline Mode from the login window. 😛

exactly! I got home 90 minutes early just so i could game a little prior to going out for some food with some buddies.
 
I can log in to the Steam application.

I can launch TF2.

I can join servers.

I cannot view my achievements.

I cannot use my upgraded weapons.

I get horrible lag.

I get disconnected constantly for an invalid SteamID ticket or some shit like that.
