I was having fun in DS 3 until the first boss fight -- the tactics needed changed completely from the fights up until that point.

Until then it played like Torchlight 1-2 then suddenly you needed to switch from smashing to dodging and running away, even with the difficulty on easy. The fun stopped.

Maybe someday I'll start over and spend a few hours practicing my running away skills to get past that boss fight. Or I could do something that's actually fun instead.

Be aware they call it complete, but it does not have the expansions for DS 1 or 2 and multiplayer is disabled, as I recall.

Right, if it wasn't for the fact that network multiplayer is turned off on these Steam versions for some idiotic reason, I would buy this.

Having beat a few bosses in DS3, it seems almost as if boss difficulty is set, and better skills and equipment make them easier.

Even so, bosses play completely different from the rest of the guys you kill, and healing is kind of a joke. I'm not enamored with the game, but I'll still finish it. I feel more compelled to beat the bad games I buy, which is a bit weird.

I have Cities in Motion 2.

It's a decent game (better than I thought it would be) but it has 2 game breaking problems.

1) There is no campaign to speak of, except "Cover more of the map". Once you reach the end of the mission, the next campaign mission starts with the same objective but just more of the map. ;) So ultimately there are not really any goals. You just build mass transit and try to make money. That's it.

2) Buses that are on a schedule sometimes pull over to the side of the road based on schedule changes (such as different time tables for day and night bus activity) and wait to start moving until the right time. Unfortunately in these cases. Traffic and other buses on the road get stuck behind that one and miss their stops and people get pissy. There is no such concept as a passing lane. So you have to set the time tables for day, night, weekend, etc to exactly the same times so they always keep flowing. If you don't manage this, you can up in complete gridlock in your city as you can create traffic jams everywhere by a single bus sitting there. Once the bus is scheduled to move it can't because the road in front of it has a traffic jam created by it's own stupidity.

If you can deal with that, it's not so bad a game. Also the DLC content is way better (of course trying to get you to buy it) than the original content. So that's pretty lame.

The DLC/Seasson pass are not on sale?

I've finished playing the campaign with a friend. the game is ok, good fun, some glitches at some points, but i enjoyed it

The game already had like 7gbs of Patches, i never got to play the game when it was just released

at 5 bucks, i think its worth it with some friends

IMO it's definitely worth $5, particularly after they patched most of the game's problems.

Hmm good timing. I just re-watched all 5 Alien movies so I'm in an Alien kind of mood. Going to grab this one.
