Hey hey hey now, I said there is a very good chance that it is being delayed, nothing 100% for sure, though close :(

Sorry man, you're my trusted source of Steam info, so while I praise you for your deal threads, I also have to bitch to you when you post bad news :p

Analogue: A Hate Story is a really good game. However, it's still hard to recommend because it's also a very niche game.

I think Analogue is literally the only visual novel Steam sells. In a vast sea of Japanese VNs, pretty much none of them can be found on Steam. In fact Steam has a pretty bad lack of Japano games in general. (Although to be specific, Analogue is Korean, not Japanese).

It's like a visual novel, but... there aren't many visuals either. You slip into the roll of a detective in the future, who's job is to investigate an abandoned spacecraft that was once a generational ship, attempting to colonize another planet but somehow failed along the way.

The "game" is about 90% reading, with a little NPC interaction and maybe two or three gamey bits. I really liked it, but again, I can only recommend it if you're into visual novels. If you've never played a visual novel before, then I wouldn't recommend Analogue for a beginner either.

Fun story: The title of this game describes how a lot of people feel about Valve today after the store updated.

How true!

Hey Steam | Gabe: I bought a Dragon Age bundle from a small company called Amazon today. I most definitely would have bought that from you if.....you had started your sale today and put it on sale for $9.99 like Amazon. Just sayin'...........

I played the demo of Analogue and it is pretty cool...but anyone scared of reading may as well just skip it.
