WTF does it actually do? My TF2 settings and my favorite servers are always getting lost. I thought it was to save those so you didn't have to set them everytime you reformatted or switched computers.

I don't think TF2 uses Steam Cloud. But essentially it stores your save games, favourites and some settings on the cloud so they are carried to other machines. Presumably graphics settings won't be saved on Steam Cloud because it doesn't make sense to carry those from one computer to another.

Edit - seems TF2 only uses Steam Cloud for item loadouts. Source. Pretty pathetic.

yeah thats pretty lame. i was hoping it would store my control settings. and saving favorite servers seems like one of the first things to do.

Well, Steam updated so that with Torchlight your characters will follow you from pc to pc. I have the game installed onto two PCs. My notebook and my desktop. I had a Destroyer I played on my notebook and a Vanquisher on my desktop. The Destroyer is gone now. Only character that shows up on either is the Vanquisher. That sucks. Anyone else have similar problem?
