So they are redesigning the Steam interface? Good. Right now the Steam UI looks like an ugly 1995 GeoCities website reject. It's horrible.

Keep in mind.. Its a beta. As such, there are problems.

The biggest one, apparently it makes you redownload some games. Nobody knows why, but its all over the Steam forum. Happened to me, so now i get to redownload MW2 on my $h!ttastic internet

Yea it made me redownload Company of Heroes.

It gets worse (for MW2 players) apparently.. Instead of letting it download completely, I just installed from the disc to save tons of time. Ooops.. STILL doesnt work. Looks like I HAVE to download the entire game.

mine isn't working quite right. the large game icons don't display and i can't browse the steam store or community page/friends list. it just sits there then gives a "testshell-error:"

Wow, I had the same problem.. I just thought that it looked strange with all of the boxes with just the game names in them. The boxes make more sense with the logo from the game in them.. lol

I have to re-download Modern Warfare 2 as well. I thought it locked up my computer as well when I clicked "Games List". Quite the beta.

I just hope they didn't make it too bling bling. I like the old minimalist UI.

No issues. I must say. I love this UI update. It's great. Also while I don't use the browser all the time. Now that it's using webkit, it flys on loading pages!

It's slick. Love how everything is more presentable! Now I really want to unlock achievements!

Also feels lighter? I love it.

I hated it at first, then I learned the menus and now I love it.

Only thing I want is a download progress bar on the games tab ontop of the game icons.
