Hmm,

Since monday, everytime I start my machine steam login window jumps up asking for my PW??? It hasn't done it before. Is this some new thingy, or should I be worried about my account???

My PW still works... maybe I should change it???

Changing it shouldn't hurt anything, and might help bump anyone who might have hijacked your account.

I know that my 2nd computer always asks for my passwords when I reboot it because my Main rig always has it in use. So I'd probably be a little worried that someone jacked your Steam. But on the other hand, what are they going to do to it really?

get it banned by VAC/Steam so he can't use it on secured servers for a year or more. Nothing major :)

I have done that, thats why I'm wondering.

Anyways, changed my PW and it went away... for now. BUT, how is it possible for someone to have my info? I have most certainly NOT given it to anybody anywhere???

I think Steam is pretty innovative. I mean, your account has like its own toybox of games that you bought and own, so you don't need the CDs to install the games. Having an account like that is pretty sweet and being able to download all your games and apps to your computer is a lifesaver (where the hell did my CDs go). Now just make sure you don't get your account stolen...
