Decided to purchase Bioshock off of Steam today. Strangely, it would not let me select which harddrive to install to, only my C (which is where Steam is installed). Is this a result of SecureRom or am I missing an option to install it to my gaming harddrive - E?

Don't quote me on this, but I think your Steam apps have to be installed to the same directory as Steam. I installed Steam on my D: volume, and its where all the Steam games reside.

Yeah, what he said. Anything you downlaod from Steam goes into the Steam/SteamApps folder.

I did the exact same thing recently also for Bioshock. Is there an easy way to reinstall Steam on a different drive? If I uninstall & reinstall on a different drive do I have to re-download the games?

Copy Steam to another folder, such as C:\Steam2, uninstall Steam, reinstall Steam to your gaming hard drive, copy Steam2 over to your new Steam directory (E:\Steam or whatever), overwriting anything in the new directory.
You Steam should now run from the new location with all games installed, all your login info etc still there by default.
