Running it with DVD Decrypter now but I already ran into 2 errors, anyone had any luck backing it up yet?

Is it even worth wasting a blank DVD on this movie? 😉

I have watched half of it so far and considering the terrible reviews it got, it is actually not that bad.

Well, the problem is since development of DVD Decrypter has stopped, the newest copy protection schemes pose a problem.

Have you tried AnyDVD? I'm not sure if they have a free trial or anything, but I do know it's updated regularly to combat the newest protection.

AnyDVD won't work either...I've tried.

I agree. It was mindless entertainment, but I went in with that expectation. The combat scenes are actually pretty well done although they are a bit hookey at times.

You have to figure out what sectors the errors are on, then omit those sectors from the backup. You should be able to use the free dvd fab too. . .

its possible. arccos is apain. but u can do it with dvddecryptor..theres aguide out there, u gotta download a couple other small apps too😛 frankly its not worth it because its about as sh*tty a movie as one can get. even the fx are meh..and really thats the only reason to want to watch it in the first place.

yeah i went into it thinking/knowing it was gonna be terrible, and ended up thinking "hmm, coulda been worse" - but i blame that on going in with very low expectations. apparently thats the way to go with movies now-a-days

ARccOS copy protection sucks.

Why? Because it works?

No, because it prevents us from backing up disks we bought so we don't have to rebuy them because of scratches, kids, accidents, etc.

Gotta love the convenience of a digital rip on my HTPC and it keeps my 2year old away from the original disc.
